The role will involve

Deploys and administers applications using Websphere/WebLogic/JBOSS Applications Server. This role is responsible for performance, availability and scalability of the applications, and maintains the functional interface to the application infrastructure. Independently plans installs, integrates and validates systems software and hardware solutions. Manages technical change implementation across environments. Acquires and applies broad knowledge of the business, its products, and processes. Resolves issues of and navigates obstacles to deliver work product. Serves as a resource to less experienced team members on escalated issues of a routine nature. Participates in the evaluation, development, implementation, integration and administration of internal and external business solutions that meet customer needs. Manages enterprise-scale web application middleware environments, servers, and related systems. Understands technology relationships and best practices required for highly available infrastructure, load balancing, web platform configuration and application deploy processes. Familiarity with Web Application Deploy Process. Experience with JEE and configuration management. Perl or Bash scripting. Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with all technologies in Java-based web application requests. Embraces Agile practices. JBoss/WebSphere/WebLogic administration. Load Balancing/Application Routing.
