Our client is the largest provider of holiday/ travel services not only here in New Zealand, but in Australia and the USA, and is currently seeking the credentials of an extremely competent DevOps Engineer join their Infrastructure team.
What will you do?
If your looking for an exciting new opportunity where your input and contribution to improve process and procedure are welcomed, then we have an opportunity available within a well established company that can offer a start-up environment.
This would mean that you would be involved in working with the latest cutting edge technologies and be allowed to innovative within your role. Ideally we are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer that has proven experience and a passion for SaaS and cloud based infrastructure environments.
As well as having an opportunity to work on existing projects and projects from scratch.
Linux administration skills (CentOS and/or Ubuntu preferred)
Linux, Solaris, Windows Server
Automation for CI/CD process to support multiple development teams
Experience with some or all of these programming languages- .NET Core, Node.js, React Native, HTML5, CSS
Strong experience in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Ruby, etc)
Implement experience with MongoDB and ElasticSearch clusters
Experience migrating microservcie onto AWS ECS
Expert within AWS technology stacks
Strong research and implementation skills for new technologies and ideas
Team player and good interpersonal skills
Strong sense of ownership and ability to resolve technical issues
