Dynamic IT has been around for eight years and has built up a loyal client base. One of our team of five is changing careers, opening up a position for you to jump in.

We focus on business clients with between 5 and 50 computers on their network, and we are looking for you to build a strong relationship with key clients who trust the advicse of our team to help keep their businesses running smoothly.

The role would suit someone who enjoys variety in their day. In a typical workday you might be assisting a client to set up a new staff member on an existing computer, fixing a printing issue, helping update an email signature, confirming whether an email a client forwards to us is legitimate or suspicious, setting up a new printer, troubleshooting an internet connection issue, helping a client work out where their Word menus have gone, assigning new permissions on a server folder, restoring a file from backup, or doing a proactive health check on a server.

For any tasks outside of your experience, two more experienced members of the team will be on hand to support you.

60% of your time will be spent at our office, based just off the Lincoln Road off-ramp on the North Western Motorway taking client calls and following up on issues they email in. 20% will be spent on a variety of client sites as issues come up that require a set of eyes or hands on site. A few days per month will be spent providing additional manpower to a key client's internal IT team or covering for one of their staff on a scheduled day off.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years commercial IT support experience. This could be working for a small IT company, or an internal corporate helpdesk where you don't get enough variety in your day.

Living in west Auckland is not necessarily important, as your day could easily start with a visit to a client in Takapuna, East Tamaki, Mangere, or Henderson. If you would like to start and finish your work day early to stay out of traffic, this could easily be accommodated, as can occasionally working from home (e.g. if you have an unwell child).

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
