We are looking for a Policy Advisor to join our policy team within the Strategy, Policy and Research Group. Our goal is to use the combined disciplinary power of strategy development, policy advice and research to drive and influence our organisational direction.
Our team focuses on project work and supports teams across ACC on various change initiatives which are focused on ACC becoming a more customer-centric organisation. This is a varied role where, in addition to legislative and regulatory work, you will also have the opportunity to delve into some important strategic and operational policy work.
We are a forward-thinking and collaborative team and, as an Advisor, you will get the opportunity to work on the issues that matter for ACC, leading pieces of work that support decision making by the ACC Board, Senior Management and Ministers.
What we're looking for:
You will be a motivated and professional policy advisor who is customer-focused, and thrives on understanding the current and future issues facing ACC and is passionate about delivering robust, relevant policy advice to decision makers.
Your combination of analytical and communication skills will allow you to present information in a meaningful way for decision makers, and your collaborative working style will mean you will form credible relationships across the organisation.
