Our client is a well-respected legal firm specialising in many areas such as business, finance, property, litigation and disputes based in central Auckland. Due to movement within the company they are looking for an experienced Legal Executive who is available to start immediately.

Purpose of Position:
To provide assistance and advice to legal department (team and clients)

Key Accountabilities

  • Attend on clients and take instructions.
  • Draft all correspondence and documents to complete transactions or continue ongoing administration, whichever is applicable.
  • Witness Declarations, if a Fellow.
  • Continue to increase legal and market knowledge.
  • Establish systems to ensure value is delivered to the client in the best, most cost-effective and efficient manner.
  • Liaise with other teams in the firm where applicable.
  • Know when advice should be sought from a more experienced member of the firm and seek that advice.

To be successful you will need to have:

  • Legal Executive Certificate
  • At least 2 years previous legal experience
  • Reliable, honest and attention to details
  • Comfortable to work within team as well as independently
  • Team oriented and should possess leadership skills
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Suite skills

The role is paying approximately between $50,000- $60,000 per annum, and is fantastic opportunity to work in an impressive and exciting organisation.
