A great opportunity exists for a dynamic and motivated Operations Manager to join Green Tours
Located in our new store in Hamilton, as an Operations Manager you will oversee all tasks within our regional operations centre.
Responsibilities are, but not limited to:
Contribute to the research, design, development, maintenance, enhancement, promotion, organization, communication and budgeting / costing of changes to current products and new product opportunities for assigned tours
Management of overall operation of the inbound individual and group tours, including but not limited to , frequent correspondence and follow-up with hotels, suppliers and tour directors, and crisis management
Developing and reviewing policies, programs and procedures concerning tourists and travel products and services provided;
Negotiating with tour related companies, organizations, agents in relation to type and costs of tour products and services;
Dealing with customer inquiries to ensure that the company provides best services;
Ensuring all arrangements are properly done, such as bookings, transports, interpretations, tour guide arrangements etc;
Communicating and ensuring with staffs and supervisor to discuss about the business to promote better efficiency and effectiveness of work.
To be considered for the position, the candidate must have the following:
Fluency in both Chinese and English
Mininum 2 years previous experience in the travel & tourism industry
Strong administration/organisational skills
Strong computer skills
Effective communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
A Positive Attitude
A NZ driver license with P2 endorsement will be an advantage
