A Branch Manager opening is available in the facilities service industry, based in New Plymouth this position is tasked with several management functions including; asset, business development, compliance, estimating and customer management. The daily operational management will also be linked with safety, quality and environmental management. There is a number of reports across the business in the local scene and team leadership will be a significant contribution requirement. We are looking for a strategic thinker in management style and a leader who has a diverse way of thinking in this busy environment, you will need to be resolution focused and able to share your ideas and be approachable as the Branch Manager. This company has a nationwide presence and you will report to the General Manager based in Wellington. You be working alongside project managers, sales teams, administrative professionals and HSE staff all of whom will have some level of reporting function to your position as Branch Manager. The pre-requisites of this position will include but are not limited to;

  • A Tertiary qualification in the building & construction sector or related trades
  • Or a technical discipline relevant to the industry with work experience
  • Health & Safety as second nature
  • A proven track record in operational management in the maintenance services/facilities arena
  • Have a pro-active approach to resolving issues with excellent attention to detail
  • Sales and marketing with experienced gained in a hands on operational, and contractual environment
  • Prior management of profit and loss
  • Great overall written and verbal skills
  • A Full clean class 1 drivers Licence
