The effluent and environmental business is a key 'offering' in our range of products and services to our highly valued customers. This exciting role offers the opportunity to leverage, showcase and manage the product range in relation to the specialist area of effluent & environmental including existing and new product development and enhancement. You'll lead this product range and be involved in maintenance, installations, specifications, pricing and marketing.
As the Head of Effluent & Environmental you will be comfortable working independently and with others to lead this key portfolio. Your demonstrated experience 'on farm' in a specialist or advisory role related to this key function will be critical.
Strong drive and motivation will assist you to meet and exceed the agreed targets of the business plan for the effluent & environmental business as well as your strong relationships with other critical Waikato Milking System stakeholders; e.g. sales team (including Effluent & Environmental Specialists), Manufacturing, R&D and Marketing.
You will build and nurture relationships both internally and externally to ensure exceptional service delivery to our valued clients, the farming community and our Dealer Network throughout New Zealand.
Your success in this role is highly dependent on your ability to listen and understand farmers; know 'what makes them tick', assess how WMS can add value to their bottom line whilst supporting them with current and future compliance and regulatory requirements 'on farm'. Your knowledge of farm systems and technologies and processes required to manufacture the product range will be highly valuable in this role. Your finely-honed project management, communication, decision-making and negotiation skills will also get a workout!
With a strong focus on supporting our sales team and championing the effluent & environmental function; your analytical skills will be called on as well as your solid commercial acumen.
As a subject matter expert, you will be innovative, results driven and well connected with existing networks.
