Play your part in ensuring we continue to produce a high quality product every day by completing a range of crucial cleaning and hygiene responsibilities as a Cleaner at our Tip Top site in Mt Wellington.
Day to day you’ll be a core part of our Cleaning and Set Up team, helping to ensure that all food hygiene standards and regulatory requirements are maintained through the dismantling and thorough cleaning of our modern manufacturing equipment. You’ll also be setting up machinery for the next production run and handling a lot of industrial cleaning chemicals so it’s crucial that you follow all SOPs with accuracy.
This role will see you working Monday to Friday, 11pm-7am so you’ll need to be able to commit to this schedule. During your training period you will work the afternoon shift (3pm-11pm).
This is a vital role for the site, so you’ll need to be dedicated, able to follow instructions accurately and have a strong focus on food hygiene standards to succeed. Your adaptable nature and strong mechanical aptitude combined with your proactive approach and attention to detail will also ensure you fit well within our collaborative team. Other key skills and experience include:
- Experience and/or qualifications in industrial chemical handling
- A good physical ability – you’ll be doing heavy work at times
- A background in food manufacturing is preferred
