Ready for a change, a new career, or an alternative to the Uni path? Stevenson Civil Engineering Laboratory is your solution. We are currently looking for Lab Technicians to be based at our Drury Quarry.

The Lab at Stevenson Construction Materials, quality controls and tests different site and construction materials for the use in roads, rail, and concrete structures such as bridges, commercial buildings, public venues and subdivisions.

The job itself is a great blend of physical and mental work. On site collecting samples and undertaking various onsite tests, and in the lab testing construction materials to ensure they meet our rigorous requirements.

Most team members learn on the job, many joining us from school and gaining civil engineering qualifications and leveling up quickly. As a small and close team, it’s a job that’s friendly to your social life, as well as your career.

This is the perfect role for anyone looking to get into the construction or engineering industry, looking for a change of career, or ready to leave school.
