Aoraki Smokehouse is a well-established smokehouse based in Harewood Christchurch specialising in Ready-To-Eat salmon products. We process Freshwater King Salmon sourced direct from our growers Mt. Cook Alpine Salmon and use this to create a range of hot and cold smoked salmon products.

We are passionate about what we do and expect passion from our team too. Great care and a good eye for quality is needed to ensure we continue to produce the best smoked product in the market.

We currently have a position available for a hard-working team member in our Ready-To-Eat Department (Critical Hygiene Packing Room). If you feel you have the following attributes, we welcome your application:

• Be a team player and have great communication skills
• Possess great hygiene practices
• Experience in ready to eat food manufacturing a must.
• You will be experienced in Food Safety Standards & Procedures.
• Be Health & Safety conscious
• Understand the importance of Traceability and Record Keeping
• Have great attention to detail
• Be able to contribute solutions and procedures to ensure the packing line continuously becomes better and go the extra mile when required to get the job done.
• Hours of work generally 6.00am to 4.30pm from Tuesday-Saturday but can vary at times - some flexibility required.
