The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating non-conformity within the production area, determining the root cause of problems and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
The role requires close liaison with the Quality and Regulatory Assurance team and will play an integral part in Customer, Regulatory and Management System audits. Other responsibilities include the writing of standard operating procedures and performing GMP audits.
Skills and attributes required to do this job include:
- Sound knowledge/proven experience in working with quality and product safety management systems;
- Good written and verbal communication skills;
- Computer literacy, including use of Excel;
- A practical aptitude and a positive attitude and
- A willingness to learn.
Previous experience in a food production environment and/or with investigation of non-conformity is critical.
A tertiary qualification in Food Science, or relevant laboratory or operating skills would be an advantage but is not essential.
