The Company
My client is award winning local manufacturer who provides bespoke medical solutions for customers worldwide.

The Role
As the Inwards Goods Champion, you will be reporting directly to The Warehouse Team Leader, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the Inwards Goods function for the business.
You will be working closely with the Warehouse Team to drive and exceed customer expectations and warehousing excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Inspect and check all incoming products and materials to ensure quantities ordered agree with those received and that quality standards are met.
Notify the Quality Engineer in a timely manner of any incoming product requiring specialised inspection.
Warehouse product and materials in a timely manner after inwards goods checking and inspection
Ensure Kanban managed items are held in stock with their trigger quantity segregated in readiness for activation of purchasing/manufacturing.
Product is rotated where possible ensuring the oldest product is used first. (FIFO)
Ensure the Warehouse area is kept neat and tidy and that Sku's are clearly identified with their respective part numbers.
Ensure that materials held in Satellite Supermarkets are identified with their respective part numbers.
Undertake the daily production Milk Runs as rostered.
Weekly Fork-lift checks
Pick materials/product as required for production in a timely manner.
Undertake Pick and Pack orders.
Assist with cycle counting and physical stock takes as required.
Packing and dispatch of all outbound customer orders in a timely manner in such a way as to prevent transit damage.
Ensure all daily recording is completed timely and accurately, namely Inwards Goods and Dispatch Registers.
Generate Task Instructions for those activities not yet documented as directed.
Ensure your workspace is kept neat, tidy, orderly and free of hazards.
Other supply related duties as directed.

OHS Responsibilities
Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with all SH&E requirements
Ensure Safe Work Instructions are complied with at all times
Key Competencies
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Well developed computer skills
Forklift licence and relevant experience
Driver's license
Previous warehouse experience
Ability to meet deadlines
Excellent time management and organisational skills
