The role

Our team continues to expand! We are looking for an additional Supervisor, to work as part of a team of three Supervisors, to lead the day to day manufacturing operations of the company's Sapone bathroom assembly team. This is an exciting time to come on board - we are continuously upgrading our facility to meet increasing demand. You will work closely with the Operations Manager to implement process improvements both now and into the future as we continue to expand.
Leading a team across four assembly lines, you'll ensure quality and productivity are maintained and there will be plenty of opportunity for you to innovate along the way. You'll champion health and safety for the team, and pro-actively promote a collaborative team culture.

About you…

A natural leader, you'll enjoy motivating your team to ensure optimum quality and production output. With day to day workflow and resource management responsibility, you'll enjoy working collaboratively with the wider team to ensure your team is well resourced, as well as driven to succeed.

This is a challenging role, where your agility and resourcefulness will come to the fore. Along with experience in manufacturing, ideally you'll have had some exposure to the building or associated trades, and be quite comfortable being hands-on when needed to demonstrate to your team. In addition, you'll show an aptitude for process improvement within this kind of facility.
You'll will be able to offer experience gained by previous supervisory experience within a similar setting. Ideally this will include plumbing or carpentry experience in the NZ construction industry.
Exposure to pre-fabricated building and/or structural design will be viewed favorably.

Why consider this?

This is a rare opportunity to join a fast paced, forward thinking company providing highly innovative products to the Canterbury and New Zealand construction sectors.

As a team you could describe us as hard working and down to earth; pragmatic in our approach. We are looking for a like-minded individual to join us. We are growing quickly, so this role will continue to develop as we do, and you’ll need to be “along for the ride” – the potential is huge.
