Ethnic Content Creator / Sales & Promotions Coordinator

Indian News Link Limited is looking for an Ethnic Content Creator/ Sales & Promotions Coordinator.
The successful candidate will be able to develop Hindi, English and Fijian language content and deliver across multiple platforms including the print and web editions of Indian Newslink, digital content, Facebook, YouTube, and other promotional platforms that are under development.
The successful candidate will also establish and develop long term business relationships with clients, stakeholders, advertisers and sponsors; source, identify and secure new business opportunities; fact find and obtain briefs from clients, present campaign proposals, initiate and develop innovative ideas and programmes.
Applicants to the above post should also have experience in dealing with Kiwi, Indian, Fiji Indian and other ethnic businesses. A thorough knowledge of the cultures of India and Fiji is essential.
Applicants should also have the potential to promote the Company’s brands that include Business Awards, Sports Awards and Lecture, and have experience in securing sponsorships, event management, exhibitions and other functions.
Candidates with the following attributes will be considered:
• Minimum 5 years’ media experience (Radio/Print)
• Ability to write, produce and present ethnic programmes
• Ability to read, write and speak English, Hindi and Fijian Language
• Ability to translate Hindi to English and vice versa
• Knowledge of Fijian culture and business
• Creative and innovative skills to compliment new marketing concepts
• Knowledge and experience in Event management
• Coordinate Newspaper promotions,
• Set up and execute outdoor remote broadcasts through digital media
• Experience in use of digital broadcast equipment.
• Attention to detail skills
• Technical knowledge
Previous experience in Newspaper / Radio industry dealing with advertisers, sponsors, promotions, events, technical and understanding of ethnic Indian market is a must.
