The .com experience team exists to make the Xero.com experience beautiful in every sense of the word. We want xero.com to be a website that people love by helping customers, partners and the small business community discover Xero's value. Our team are experts in user experience design, user interface design, and content strategy. We work together through the entire digital design process - from uncovering customer needs and pain points to executing elegant interfaces.
About the role
The Content Strategy Lead will possess a clear vision of the future of user experience and will have the courage to pursue forward-thinking ideas to drive positive change. We need someone special who can be a strategic leader, team player, manager and mentor, and someone who never tires of pushing the work to be better.
You will lead the content strategy and content management for our global website xero.com which attracts almost a million page views every day. It's one of our biggest assets and the first contact that many people have with Xero. In line with Xero's position as a challenger brand with a commitment to beautiful business, the website must deliver an experience that is out of the ordinary.
You'll be working with talented colleagues who want millions of small businesses to thrive through beautiful software, advice and connections. The ideal candidate is a collaborator, problem solver, idea generator and storyteller with a firm understanding of content strategy, user experience, and SEO.

expertise in building content patterns and systems for web

expertise in communicating complex ideas to a variety of people in effective ways
experience working closely with developers and designers
a firm understanding of SEO
a portfolio that demonstrates high-quality content outcomes, contributing to user experience and business value
experience working throughout the entire design process, from uncovering customer needs and pain points, to executing elegant interfaces

An organised, passionate and pragmatic approach, and are an empathetic colleague
