Xero is looking for a Digital Marketing and Acquisition Specialist to join our Auckland office. This is a fantastic role for a someone with a passion of digital media ready to take on their next challenge.



At Xero digital media is a crucial channel for driving Xero's business performance. You will be at the heart of delivering results within this channel. As part of Xero's global Customer Acquisition Team, you will be responsible for acquiring small business customers and activating digital media strategy.

This role is perfect for a someone who has 1 - 3 years digital marketing experience and is looking for a new challenge. It is a mid-level role which encompasses a mix of "on the tool" campaign management, relationship management with some scope to contribute toward strategy and planning.



You will work with senior members of Xero's global digital marketing team to develop digital media strategy. This will include working with our creative production teams, development and onsite optimisation and growth and revenue teams, alongside our regional marketing teams.

You will take responsibility for the activation of digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms and contribute toward the delivery of new customer acquisition targets. As part of this role you will interpret insights from Google analytics to inform the digital media strategy and tactics, apply rigorous campaign optimisation and keep abreast of global learnings and insights and leverage these to build the brand
online.

What you'll bring with you

  • 1.5 - 3 years of digital marketing experience.
  • Working knowledge of Facebook's Business manager and Power Editor
  • General knowledge of broader digital media including Paid Search, Ad-Serving and Analytics.
  • Knowledge of how to use DSPs (Such as DoubleClick Bid Manager) and Adwords to run display campaigns
  • Attention to detail and an analytically mind is crucial
  • Other trading platform knowledge such as Linkedin or Twitter is beneficial
