Marketing Services Co-ordinator – 12 month maternity cover contract

TOP 10 Holiday Parks is New Zealand's premier holiday park group. We have 47 parks located across the country. Each of our parks is individually owned and operated.

The Central Office, made up of a small team of talented professionals, is based in Tower Junction, Christchurch. We are seeking a driven and motivated marketing professional with strong analytical skills to join our team and assist with delivering the marketing strategy and operations for the group.

In our role, we deliver and implement a Marketing Plan aligned with the group strategy. We also provide support and guidance for individual Members on their own complementary marketing activity and ensure franchise requirements are complied with across the Group. The role will involve providing marketing services and operational assistance and support as part of the Central Office team as well as administrative support as and when required.

Hours of work will be 40 per week.

Duties and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Be a brand champion through the provision of creative guidance to our Parks.
  • Support implementation of the Marketing Plan.
  • Assist with social media marketing.
  • Assist with search engine optimization, website content, management (customised WordPress) and e-commerce development.
  • Be the key driver of analytics from the Membership Database & EDM Databases.
  • Create and send EDMs using Microsoft Click Dimensions and MailChimp.
  • Assist with Google Analytics website stats reporting.
  • Develop reporting data, including creating graphs in Excel, and building Power Point presentations for Shareholder and Board meetings.
  • Assist with training courses, webinars and inductions.
  • Support national marketing campaigns.
  • Provide franchise operations and compliance support.
  • Provide administrative support as and when required.

The successful candidate for this position will have:

  • A tertiary Marketing qualification.
  • Preferably 2 - 5 years' experience working in a corporate environment or marketing team.
  • Computer literacy including intermediate level, MS Word and PowerPoint. Advanced Excel Skills are an advantage.
  • An engaging personality with good oral and written communication skills.
  • A high level of self-motivation and a 'can do – will do' attitude – happy to pitch in on any task.
  • The ability to work under pressure and deliver to deadlines.
  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A desire to be and deliver "world class"
  • Love of a challenge but also know how to have a good time in a fun industry!
  • A desire to be part of a small, dynamic marketing team and relish the opportunity to make a contribution that makes a difference
  • An appetite to learn and grow in their marketing career

This is a 12 month maternity cover contract. The role will ideally commence mid-November 2017. Applicants must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand. You must be either a New Zealand Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a current and open work visa with a minimum of 12 months until expiry.
