Prerequisites/Minimum Requirements:
• Degree or higher Qualification in Business/Management
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in Marketing roles in New Zealand
• Must have excellent written and spoken English
• Must have knowledge of swimming pools and spa/pool cleaning chemicals/equipment
• Clean Police Clearance Record
Job responsibilities:
• Planning, developing and executing the company’s marketing objectives as they relate to increasing sales of existing and new products.
• Maintaining clients and developing new ways to engage more.
• Analyse product popularity stats, gauge sales patterns according to demographics and region.
• Working closely with merchandisers and resellers, enhance existing and explore new avenues to grow sales and branding recognition.
• Take an active role in store merchandising
• Develop marketing and promotional plans to enhance product recognition and image in such a way as it enhances sales
• Plan, develop and coordinate production of advertising campaigns including creative activities like artwork, copywriting, media scripting within financial budget and timeframe limitations
• Make appropriate use of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator softwares to design artwork and media copywriting scripts.
• Make strong use of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Access in the execution of role.
• Actively promote company products through digital social media marketing and online presence via company website and Facebook Page
• Maintain the company website through content management software and apps
• Design and create product brochures, flyers and posters for company products
• Study, analyse and understand competitors and their products in order to stay ahead in terms of branding and product merchandising.
• Take an active part in the company’s sales meetings and strategy meetings
• Study market growth and assist the company with ways to increase sales and to plan business development strategies that would contribute to company growth and image.
• Coordinate advertising and promotional activities such as conducting surveys, product demos, media placement and taking part in industry trade shows.
• Provide feedback to management on areas such as product mix, competitor pricing, reseller promotions, sales campaigns, market feedback, and new marketing techniques.
• Work in strict accordance with Fair Trading Act and Commerce Commission Rules.
