We are expanding our marketing team and need someone to coordinate and execute digital channels and assist in all membership communications.You must be upbeat, young or young at heart, enjoy a challenge, be competitive and strive for success in your role and for the business.

Key accountabilities:
  • Implement and coordinate strategies and tasks as directed by National Marketing Manager that will deliver positive outcomes and revenues through increased card sales

  • Maximise interaction with StudentCard members by managing and responding daily to queries via phone, website, email, social networks and visitors to the StudentCard office

  • Weekly administration, process and dispatch cards and ensure delivery to membership with high level of accuracy

  • Coordinate StudentCard communications across digital channels i.e. social media, website & email (with direction from Manager)

  • Maintain full understanding of StudentCard Discounts

  • Participate in direct sales of StudentCard at orientation stalls and other external event initiatives as required

  • Coordinate analysis of all digital marketing campaigns using software resources such as Campaign Monitor, Google Analytics, Social Media Tools, and the StudentCard CMS

  • Communicate campaigns and promotions to StudentCard membership and the wider student audience


  • Native digital skills and quick adoption in regard to marketing and general business software

  • Broad understanding of brand and social media strategy

  • Hold a tertiary qualification in marketing disciplines (or relevant experience in lieu of formal training)

  • Ability and willingness to work with and support cross channel business units and other staff

  • Meticulous organisational skills, fast efficient operator

  • Time management and the ability to keep on top of task lists and projects

  • Excellent written communication skills for blogging and social posting

  • Competence with Microsoft Office packages such as Excel, Word and Powerpoint

  • Any experience with CRM, eDM or website CMS or online services
  • Cool under pressure and laughs in the face of adversity
  • Knowledge of Facebook + Instagram advertising a plus
  • Knowledge of the millennial market

This position reports to: National Marketing Manager

Candidate must be available to work in our Takapuna office M-F 9-5pm
