THE COMPANY

Our client has been providing translation and interpreting services to individuals, companies and government agencies for more than 20 years. They work in over 80 languages and cover a huge variety of projects. They are now looking to expand their team with the recruitment of a full time Administrator/Project Coordinator to be based in the Auckland CBD office.

THE ROLE

Working as part of a small, supportive team you will be responsible for managing projects right from initial quote through to final delivery and invoicing. Projects are very varied and could range from organisng an interpreter for a court case, to translating someone’s personal documents, through to managing the translation and typesetting of a multiple page booklet into several languages. Within your role you will have considerable contact with both clients and contracting translators and interpreters, primarily by email but also by phone and text.

 YOU

As the ideal candidate for this varied admin role you will display the following:

* Previous admin experience, ideally with some sort of project or workflow coordination experience
* Attention to detail, you will be accurate in everything you do. We are looking for quality and accuracy over speed
* Initiative and confident to handle projects independently with minimal supervision
* Excellent verbal and written English skills
* Good numeracy skills
* Able to work well as part of a small team
