Electrix Limited is a high profile, long term leader in the Australasian electrical and gas contracting markets. Electrix Limited is also one of New Zealand's foremost electrical construction and maintenance companies and provides a wide range of services to the power, electricity, gas, industrial and commercial sectors.

We seek the services of an experienced Administrator - Streetlights to provide general administrative support to the Streetlights team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Process debtor and creditor invoices and purchase orders
  • Process job data and enter information from timesheets
  • Interact with other business units to ensure effective and timely outcomes
  • Monitor and update training on databases
  • Maintain contract folders, filing of documents and business correspondences
  • Organise services and repairs for vehicles and tools
  • Document meeting minutes and carry out general administrative duties
  • Organise monthly meetings and taking meeting minutes
  • Identify and report QSE issues, understanding QSE standards applicable to the position and providing appropriate support to QSE and their representatives

Qualifications/training required:

  • A school leaving certificate is required with sound numeracy and written and oral English language competence. An additional qualification applicable to administrative functions is preferred
  • Prior experience in large multi-functional administration role
  • Preferable experience in the electrical industry
  • Experience in access based data entry systems (i.e. Workbench)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Sound organisation and planning skills
  • Excellent time management, prioritisation and multitasking skills with ability to adapt to changing priorities

This position is based in Albany. Attractive rates of pay are available commensurate with experience, together with an attractive superannuation (conditions apply) and company funded medical insurance. Applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand.
