As the executive assistant to the CEO, you will enhance the CEO’s effectiveness by the provision of high quality support, conserving the CEO’s time by creating and managing highly efficient appointment schedule, guest and stakeholder engagement, as well as supporting in projects as required.

You will be able to demonstrate real independence, and be sensitive to often highly confidential information and have the empathy and professionalism to communicate in a highly articulate manner. With a polished and friendly presentation style, you’ll often be the ‘face’ of the organisation, welcoming the CEOs’ visitors, directing enquires and being an integral source of internal information to the rest of the organisation.

You will maintain the CEO’s appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel. Additionally, you will best utilise the CEO’s time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analysing information

Skills and experience required to successfully execute this position are to include;

The demonstration of significant PA or EA experience.
Superior time management and organisational skills especially with organising senior executives.
Excellent computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
The ability to compose memos, correspondence, agreements, and other professional documents.
Experience in report preparation by collating and analysing information.
Be able to develop filing and retrieval systems; and manage record meeting discussions.
Proven ability to create compelling presentations for a variety of audiences using visual aids, slide shows, and other media.
Ability to communicate effectively, verbal and written, with a diverse range of audiences both internal and external to the organisation.
Proven track record of building productive working relationships.

Te Reo proficiency would be desirable; however those who are working towards this are most welcome to apply.
