We are a small family owned Bin Hire Company based in Glendene, West Auckland. We are seeking a person to assist with telephone sales/orders, dispatch and general office duties. The person needs to have excellent communication and listening skills and be able to communicate with people at all levels.

Tasks would include telephone sales, explaining products/services and quoting, taking bookings, dispatching jobs to drivers, invoicing and general office duties. Due to the nature of our business at times the phone can be super busy and at other times very quiet so it is important to be able to adapt to both environments, multi task and be able to deal with frequent telephone interuptions with ease.

An essential part of this position is having an excellent knowledge of the Auckland area, including all suburbs and knowing how to travel from suburb to suburb.

The ideal candidate will need the following skills:
  • Xero experience
  • Accounts receivable and payable knowledge
  • Be familiar with Outlook, Excel and Word
  • General office duties
  • Check and reply to emails
  • Friendly, polite and helpful telephone demeanor
  • Have the ability to nail that customer over the phone
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Have excellent written and spoken English
  • Positive attitude and sense of humour

Position is Monday to Friday approx 35 hours per week
