Ashburton District Council's EA Networks Centre is a $35 million indoor stadium and pool complex. This is a state of the art facility, is fast becoming our districts sport and leisure hub.

What the job involves

Working in our purpose built facility, you will help us deliver quality swim instruction to a wide range of customers from babies through to adults. You'll be in the water, working with our students, using the latest technology on ipods to track their progress and helping them achieve their goals.

You neednt have previous experience as all training will be provided, but its essential that youre approachable, show a positive attitude and enjoy working with children.

Who are we looking for?

We have a part-time, permanent role available working Monday 3.10pm to 5.35pm and Tuesday 3.10pm to 5.15pm. Also available is a fixed-term role covering parental leave until 19 April 2019. The hours are as per the Swim School roster working 11.00am to 12.00pm and 1.00pm to 2.30pm. Once you're fully trained up, you may also be able to pick up additional work in private swimming lessons.
