Active Building Management is an established building and facility management company providing residential and commercial building and facility management services in the greater Auckland area. We offer management, maintenance, cleaning, grounds and night patrol services to our client base.

Our growing operation requires a Building Manager Assistant to become part of our experienced team within our dynamic company.

While experience or maintenance/trade/grounds background is an advantage, it is not essential as training and ongoing support will be provided. Our philosophy is to hire people with a great attitude, rather than hire on qualifications.

We require a person with the following skills/attributes:
Honest, Punctual, Reliable, Adaptable.
Hands-on.
Experience in the trade, maintenance, property industry.
A sharp eye for detail in relation to maintenance, security and health and safety.
Ability to multi task and cope with a fast pace.
Great time management and efficiency skills.
Excellent written skills for reporting purposes.
Excellent communication skills.
Problem solver/solution oriented.
Computer literate and able to use text/email/mobile apps.
Current Full Drivers Licence.

To do the following tasks to our high standards:
Daily property/maintenance inspections,
Breach inspections,
Compliance inspections,
Health and Safety inspections and contractor management,
Identifying/quoting/coordinating maintenance,
Reporting,
Carrying out and/or coordinating light maintenance and hands on duties where able,
Outdoor and grounds maintenance supervision,
Ensuring the integrity of the buildings security is maintained,
Common area cleaning supervision. Ensuring the building is clean, tidy and well presented. Supervision and management of cleaning staff and standards on site,
