We are currently seeking for a Checkout Assistant Manager to assist with the day to day operations of the Checkout Department.

Reporting to the Checkout Manager; you will ensure that all stock leaving the store is paid for and transactions are handled efficiently and accurately, and security is effectively monitored.

The successful applicant will be team focused, display strong communication skills, high presentation standards, honest and excellent work ethics. Proven leadership experience is also a must.

The successful candidate will ideally have;

Good understanding of the Sales of Liquor Act

Previous experience in Retail Supervisory role

People person and always have a smile and can work in the team environment

Strong staff management/ staff training / and able to lead a big team

Good knowledge of Food Safety/ Health and Safety

Flexible to work all hours including working weekends

Physically fit and is able to lift heavy items

The right to work in New Zealand
