This position provides support for IT infrastructure deployment, upgrading and maintenance and website monitoring and maintenance at our Christchurch store. This position is a full-time position (hour’s negotiable 40-45 hrs per week) for carrying out maintenance and future planning of the IT infrastructure and ensure the integrity of the data and performance of the e-commerce platform hosted.

Primary Objectives

1. To maintain and manage the store network under the direction of the Manager
2. To participate as required in planning meetings for the purpose of providing advice on the future directions, hardware, software and networking for the store.
3. To participate in the implementation of ICT installations and their maintenance
4. To assist or support customers with real-time problems pertaining to the website, as negotiated with the Manager.

Technical Skills Required:
·Microsoft Windows Server
·Microsoft AD
·Windows Desktop
·MS Terminal Server/RDS
·Office 365 and Azure
·Virtual Machine Management - MS Hyper-V and VMWare
·Application Support such as MS Office, Practice Management packages, etc.
·Great understanding of Network Topology and varying network designs
·Router, Firewall and Switch configuration experience
·Logical problem solving skills
·Initiative to triage and discern the urgency of problems
·Ability to quickly learn new technologies
Familiar with e-commerce and CMS framework, nopCommerce and WordPress system in particular

Experience in website design, build and maintenance skills and tools such as HTML, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript, and Photoshop;

Knowledge of database maintenance skills such as SQL and Excel(intermediate level)

Understanding of Google SEO products


Experience
At least three years of experience as an " IT support technician & Website administrator.
