About the Company
Our client is a global organisation leading the industry in International Freight and Third Party Logistics. For the past 25 years, they have provided global supply chain management to their New Zealand and International clients. Due to maternity leave, we are seeking an Account Manager to step into this role as soon as possible.

The Role

  • Account Managing (predominantly via telephone) a dedicated portfolio of clients
  • Growing client relationships and expanding your portfolio
  • Responding to business enquiries and preparing quotes
  • Following up on enquiries within a set timeframes
  • Updating of sales reports and KPIs
  • Maintaining client information and activity records in the customer database

Skills & Experience

  • Freight forwarding industry experience preferred.
  • Professional communication skills and ability to build relationships with customers.
  • Experience preparing proposals/quotes
  • Strong multi-tasking and organisational skills.
  • Good computer skills
  • Great team player, high energy, positive personality.
