The Role.
Reporting to the Foodstuffs North Island Customer Manager, you'll be working to strategically manage and drive the success of our portfolio within Foodstuffs North Island customers. You'll be responsible for managing our head office relationships as well as preparing and implementing a rolling business plan that will ultimately grow our business and that of the customer. Working closely with the wider CCANZ Grocery team, you'll deliver on key business metrics of growth on, Volume, Rate, NSR, Net Contribution, and Share.
Your knowledge of the North Island grocery market in particular allows you to align our business plans to our customer needs. You'll effectively manage trade strategy, and constantly be on the lookout for new approaches that will increase our core metrics and overall revenue.
You'll be able to lead the commercial performance across the wider North Island team to influence Foodstuffs customers to support the sales of our entire portfolio. Using your skills and experience you will be able to take a high level customer plan and create execution strategies that ensure the field sales teams are aligned with your vision and are set up for success.
What do I need?
Given that you'll be working with some of CCANZ's most influential customer groups, you'll need to have an excellent ability to build strategic working relationships and partnerships with your stakeholders, both internally and externally. Your sales and negotiation skills will be of a high level, and you'll have experience working with large accounts and at senior levels.
On top of this, you'll be innovative, and have a strong ability to directly and indirectly lead and influence people. Your business acumen, data analysis skills and category management experience will put you in good stead to perform strongly in this role - it's a busy role, so you'll also need to be highly organised and well planned in your approach to your work.
You'll have a strong grasp on numbers, and experience with AC Nielsen or Aztec Data would be a strong advantage. Ideally, you'll have experience at a Head Office Account Management level, teamed with NZ Grocery experience - if that sounds like you, we want to hear from you!
