Reporting to the Upper South Region Sales Manager, this role is all about championing and leading the category, its products and the brands the category represents.
Once appointed, you'll be responsible for developing and rolling out growth strategies for the category and providing technical and engineering expertise and leadership to the business and the wider market. The role focuses on water related projects and will be responsible for managing involvement through the lifecycle of projects - Design through to Delivery. Working closely with major customers, you'll help identify future projects, develop engineered solutions and assist with the delivery of these solutions.
If you're doing your job well, customers will seek out your expertise and you'll gain early involvement in a wide range of interesting, major projects.
To secure this job, you'll need a good technical understanding and background in the Water industry and should be able to develop engineered solutions that add value to customers. You'll have a relevant engineering qualification as well as a reputation for being able to develop and sustain trusted commercial partnerships. Your excellent technical products sales record will speak for itself and you will need to have the flexibility to travel South Island wide.
