We are currently seeking a positive, self-motivated individual to take ownership of our newly created Business Development Manager role. We are looking for a superstar that will thrive on growing the company’s business by establishing new partnerships and increasing sales from existing accounts undertaking strategic analysis, marketing and sales.
Key role deliverables will include:
• Working closely with existing customers to ensure an in-depth understanding of their potential needs is held and converting those needs into business opportunities for Surfprep.
• Identifying and thoroughly analysing potential markets that may be relevant for Surfprep to enter.
• Identifying new customers and developing and implementing effective strategies to win and maintain their business.
• Monitoring competitor activity and recommending actions and strategies to win business from competitors.
You will have proven sales experience and be not only a hunter but a farmer. You will have some knowledge of the commercial and civil construction industries and be self-driven and highly motivated to succeed. You will be a clear, open and professional communicator and maintain strong relationships with your clients. You will have a can-do attitude, be committed, courageous and have a competitive determination to succeed. You will be a positive and supportive team player but able to work autonomously.
