? Lead all aspects of the sales process, while calling upon the company's sales resources to assist in solution development, proposal delivery, and implementation, as needed.
? Organise and manage daily team operations including ensuring sufficient work is allocated to each Sales Agent.
? Assist excel sales with recruitment and initial screening of potential new Sales Agents.
? Assist new sales agents during their appointments until they have the required product knowledge and are able to successfully turn them into sales.
? Conduct in-field training for all new sales agents
? Lead the team of agents as a Team Leader.
? Conduct assessments of new people against their minimum kpi’s and provide results for District sales Manager and Senior Management review.
? Develop clear, strategic and effective proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers
? Coordinate sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups
? Participate in training or workshops to improve their sales techniques and communication skills
? Analyze the market's potential and determine the value of existing and prospective customer's value to the organization
? Identify advantages and compare organization's products/services
? Plan and organize personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment for the territory/segment
? Supply the management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
? Research and keep abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends


1. Manage and develop a team of Sales Representatives to deliver targets and objectives including:

? Manage the team of Sales Representatives in Hastings Wellington Region.
? Motivate the team and ensure that the weekly targets are met.
? Allocate weekly roaster to Sales agents.
? Participate in selecting and training prospective Sales agents.
? Carry out performance reviews.
? Communicate regularly with Sales Agents.
? Ensure that the Sales Agent adhere to Excel sales standards and values.
? Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
? Assist District Sales Managers in sales and marketing plans.

2.Customers:

? Establish and maintain business relationships with existing customers and prospective customers in the Hastings region.
? Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints on behalf of the Sales Agents outside the office.
? Determine the needs of prospective customers and suggest a suitable products and payment plans to the customers.
? Compile lists of prospective customers using directories and other sources.
? Monitor competition by gathering current market information on pricing, new products and delivery schedules.
? Monitor customers’ needs and develop customer service policies.
? Following up with customers to ensure satisfaction with the products purchased and resolving any problems arising.


3.Business Reporting:

? Collect statistic, checklists from Sales agents and prepare sales reports
? Prepare activity and results reports.
? Maintain records of any expenses incurred.
? Make recommendations in relation to changes in products and service to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth within Hastings region.
? Attend weekly regional meetings and actively participate where appropriate.
? Market the company products of the new customers and assist in the growth of client base.
? To support marketing of the company goods.

Must have at least 3 months of Direct Sales experience ( Door to door)
? Knowledge of relevant government legislations including door to door sales act 1967 and Fair-trading act 1986 is also required.
? A tertiary qualification in management/business/marketing is preferable.
