This role assumes responsibility for major accounts across Christchurch and the west South Island territory but also a portfolio of the companies key plumber/contractor accounts at a senior level.
The company would like to offer their clients a higher level of service, expertise and relationship in order to foster the growth they desire, and this will be your role. You will work closely with the companies larger accounts on initiatives such as -
*Long term pricing initiatives to benefit all parties
*Introduction of new product lines and technlogy
*High end relationship building leading to partnerships
*Merchant initiatives to ensure plumber sell through
The candidates we seek will come from either plumbing or gas or a related technical sales role in the building industry. You will be well versed in both territory management and have worked comfortably with key or major accounts in the past or be at a stage in your sales career where you are looking to make that step. Turned on by the numbers and strategic growth you are looking for more than the typical territory management role.
