We currently have a part-time opportunity for a highly motivated, proactive individual to step into an exciting challenge in our Christchurch showroom.

- Procuring and managing sales from new and existing clients through both in-store and online enquiries
- Maintaining a solid knowledge and understanding of furniture, drapery, blinds, lighting and wallpaper products along with being familiar with all their latest designs
- Consulting with clients in-store or in-home, about their Interior Design requirements, whilst displaying confidence and knowledge on all aspects of the Interior Design process
- Sourcing products, presenting and preparing pricing schedules for projects including furniture, drapery, blinds, wallpaper, lighting and accessories
- Preparing window furnishings quotes for clients and conducting site measures for those products
- Building and maintaining client rapport by delivering superb customer service throughout the sales process and offering continual after sales support
- Processing client orders through our POS system and organising deliveries and installations
- Maintain showroom appearance and in-store displays to a high standard

- Superb communication skills, with proven customer service or sales experience
- Experience with drapery and blinds would be an advantage
- A passion for design – interior design experience or a qualification would be of great benefit, but not essential
- A focused approach to business and can confidently work with retail clients, designers, architects and suppliers
- Ability to work efficiently on multiple tasks whilst keeping accuracy is paramount
- Ability to work well in a small team and a willingness to help other team members
