When you've been the local Engineering shop for nearly 150 years you call yourself "Established". This business has their roots firmly sown in West Coast soil, giving their elite Engineering services to multiple sectors. Their capabilities range from steel fabrication, CNC machining, pressure vessel manufacture and "everything else". With a reputation built on quality and service, the team are looking for like minded individuals to join the ranks.
A "typical" day
Depending on workload (and the weather) you can either go do site welding on a new dairy platform, prep material to be welded once the rain clears or put your finest welds into a custom made pressure vessel. Working primarily with ARC and MIG you will be comfortable working under and over hand on steel applications. You can accurately read plans and plan your approach.
Are you the right fit?
We are looking for a dependable and reliable tradesperson who can display the following attributes:
- Hold a current NZ welding certificate/ticket
- Proven experience with ARC and MIG applications
- Safe work practices
- Current drivers licence
- Machining / Turning experience a bonus
