We are looking for a full time Builder / Carpenter to join our Marlborough team.

The position will involve working with the Building Services team in the day-to-day planning and carrying out of building work on a variety of local properties and assets.

Duties and job requirements include:

• Property renovations from major refurbishments to minor alterations
• Experience in running small to medium sites
• Setting up safe sites and taking the responsibility for daily health and safety
• Ability to plan and think through the whole job from inception to completion
• Exceptional customer service
• Must have a ‘can-do’ attitude
• Eye for detail and a fine finish
• Assisting with job pricing/planning/management
• Assisting maintenance team when required
• Other construction work, minor earthworks and small concrete jobs would be an advantage.

A New Zealand qualification in carpentry is essential. Experience in building new and in renovation of existing buildings. LBP licence is recommended but not a pre-requisite.
