We are a long established, Wellington based, major player in the Architectural Hardware market looking for a highly motivated person to join our Commercial Division.

This primary role of this position is the day to day contract management of many of the door hardware supply & installation jobs that we are undertaking on commercial construction projects throughout New Zealand. In addition to this primary role, there may also be a small amount of estimating and pricing to be completed, along with involvement in trade and retail sales from time to time. Depending on the skills and experience you bring to the role, you may be involved with the training and development of junior staff.

The level of this position is flexible – the right attitude and a desire to be part of a great team taking a growing business to the next level, could see this role being just as suitable for a junior go-getter or for an experienced hardware person, tradesman, or locksmith.

There is an opportunity for this position to evolve into a senior position within the Company. How soon that happens will depend entirely on the drive, energy and skills you bring to the company. There may also be an ownership opportunity for the right person.

A background in the hardware industry would be beneficial, as would estimating or pricing experience; however a willingness to learn and establish a career within the company is just as important.
