This role is to primarily support the Service Manager in managing the profitability and productivity of maintenance services in the Wellington depot.

This is a unique role that will utilise your quality workmanship and problem solving ability. The work is varied and spans from supporting the team and maintenance and repairs (both electrical and mechanical) to fuel pumps, fuel delivery systems, stand alone controls and carwashes.

What we need from you:

  • Hold a current NZ Electrical Practicing Licence with hands on electrical experience
  • Supervisory experience and the ability to lead and motivate the team
  • Have a mechanical background, enjoy tinkering and keeping equipment operational
  • Experience in the fuels industry would be ideal, but full training will be provided
  • Hold a Full NZ Drivers Licence
  • Have great customer service skills and enjoy exceeding customer expectations
  • Be proactive, independent and use good judgement
  • To have a working style that promotes a safe working environment
  • To be fit and healthy and able to complete our pre employment medical and drug screening

  • Excellent planning skills and problem solving ability
  • An excellent understanding of health & safety systems and requirements
