As an Electrical Apprentice, you will be directly involved in providing support to the Maintenance team whilst actively working towards gaining your Electrical trade. This is a great opportunity to join a well-recognised company with the potential to complete a dual trade on site.

Main responsibilities include;

  • Monitoring and responding to plant repairs, maintenance and breakdowns in order to minimise downtime, improve reliability and maximise overall efficiency.
  • Installing electrical wiring and equipment; communications systems; air conditioning; or lighting
  • Assisting with project and electrical overhaul work
  • Completing new electrical installations
  • Inputting required job information into the Maximo system
  • Ensuring assigned jobs are closed correctly in Maximo and relevant notes have been added
  • Repairing electrical installations, parts, and equipment
  • Testing electrical work for safety

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Electrical or Mechanical aptitude.
  • Computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office.
  • The ability to work under pressure and have excellent problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
