This isn't just any Cable Jointing role. Oh yes, you'll be doing everything you'd expect, and using your technical expertise to the full, but what sets this role apart is Connetics itself.
With a head office in Christchurch and with depots in Wellington and Central Otago, we're responsible for constructing and maintaining overhead and underground lines and equipment across these locations. We also provide electrical design and supply and logistics solutions for customers across New Zealand. Providing such a critical service is no easy task, and we know that to be the best, our people need to be connected, safe, and involved. That makes your satisfaction our top priority.
And there's a lot to be said for the lifestyle opportunities in the South Island or Wellington. How about a shorter commute and cheaper housing? Lots of possibilities for outdoorsy weekend adventures? More time for your family? That's right - we know you have a life outside work, and there is so much you can do in your day, in New Zealand. If you're a qualified cable jointer who can work with 400v to 11kV plastic cables, and can bring solid experience in distribution and supply, this could be an exciting change for you, with amazing professional opportunities. Look at Christchurch, for instance - a new city means a whole new network to build.
You'll bring strong written and oral English skills, an open mind, and confidence to bring new ideas to the table. You'll also be happy for some work-related travel - sometimes you'll have to go where you're needed to maintain and restore networks.
This isn't just about growing your career and living your best life. It's also about having more. More satisfaction, more opportunity, more innovation, more experiences - and more life in a day for the things and people that matter to you.
What will you do with it?
