We are looking for an experienced Foreman/ Site Supervisor for our Client’s construction project in Central Auckland. You will be working closely with Site Manager and you will be responsible for everyday site activities, ensuring that Carpenters, Hammer hands and Labourers are performing well and that the project progress according to plan. Strong communication skills at all levels are a must.

Ideal Candidates:
  • Come from a trade background – Builder/Carpenter
  • Have diploma/Trade in Carpentry (BCITO, LBP,..)
  • Previous experience of managing people
  • Site Safe passport is advantage
  • Good knowledge of NZ Building Code
  • Can read plans
  • Strong Communication skills
  • H&S awareness
  • Problem solving

In this position you will be responsible for various tasks from supervising and interacting with subcontractors to solving problems and managing materials deliveries. This is a hands on position - You will be expected to produce work as well as supervising. You will need to be physically fit.
A positive attitude and ability to deal with people coming from different backgrounds is essential.
