Founded in Australia in 1995 and then recently launched in Auckland in 2017, Urban Maintenance Systems (UMS) provides Building Maintenance, Grounds and Open Space Maintenance, Parks and Roadside Infrastructure Maintenance.

The Role

UMS are currently looking of a fit, strong and motivated individual to join their Rodney Mowing team as a Weed-eater Operator. This role is not for the faint hearted, but gives you the opportunity to work outdoors and is sure to keep you fit. There is a competitive pay rate on offer as well as training and development and once you prove yourself there could be the opportunity to move on and learn to operate other machinery.

To be considered for the role you must:

• Loves the smell of grass
• Be physically fit and not afraid of hard work
• Have a positive attitude and a good work ethic
• Hold a full current NZ driver’s desirable HT class 2
• Adhere to Health and Safety requirements
• Experience dealing with the public
• Be able to pass a pre-employment medical and criminal check
