The Technical Support Hercules Controller is primarily responsible for the aeronautical configuration management of the Hercules aircraft airframe and systems, providing subject matter expertise. The position will contribute to the recording of Modification, Special Extension/Anticipation, Special Maintenance Instructions, Major Defect Reviews and Concession procedural administration, whilst also maintaining the relevant databases associated with efficient running of Technical Support core functions.

We are seeking a person who has a sound background in practical aircraft engineering. You will have a reputation for pushing continuous improvement and for successfully solving technical problems. The role is both busy and varied, covering the RNZAF technical airworthiness policy, technical support and advice, research, reporting and technical administration.

The Directorate of Continued Airworthiness Management Auckland, through the Hercules Technical Support Cell is responsible for the Technical Airworthiness of the Hercules aircraft and associated aeronautical structure and systems in support of NZDF Operations.
