Do you have an excellent eye for detail? Are you meticulous with impeccable personal standards? Are you physically fit and not afraid of hard work?

An opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Coordinator to join the team of a highly regarded local Ashburton business, who constantly strive for excellence in every aspect of their operation. You will be part of a team that help create the perfect wedding or event venue for clients throughout Mid, South and greater Canterbury. This involves creating a stunning venue and amazing atmosphere by assembling luxury silk-lined marquees, dressing the marquee and setting up the site to clients special requirements.

You will be in-charge of coordinating in the warehouse and on site to ensure the efficient and smooth transition of marquees, silk linings, tableware, accessories, chairs, linen, centerpieces, and decorative lighting, are loaded into the truck safely and delivered to the venue site in a timely and organised manner. Class 2 Drivers Licence, F endorsement and OSH forklift would be ideal but training will be provided for the successful applicant. This is a physically demanding role that will involve heavy lifting so it is important that you are fit and not afraid of hard work. You will also need to be competent on the computer.

To be successful in this role you must have excellent attention to detail, take extreme pride in your work, have a positive and friendly approach and be flexible and adaptable. You will have a professional manner and provide excellent customer service to all clients.

Hours will be 37.5 per week but during peak times through October to April there will also be weekend work and overtime so you must be flexible.
