We are currently looking for a Night Caretaker to join our team at the Whangateau Holiday Park. As a Night Caretaker your primarily responsibilities will include undertaking park security and noise shut down. Along with these tasks you will also look after front of house responsibilities, assisting guests, locking up, some administrative and cleaning duties where needed. Having a calm and friendly personality, you will be the point of contact for guests as well as other staff throughout these night shifts.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Proven Security night/audit experience
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a customer service environment
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
- The ability to work in a team, but also unsupervised
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
This is a permanent position, working rostered shifts over 7 days with a minimum of 20 hours per week up to 40 hours per week in the summer season. The successful applicant must be able to work 6, 8, 10 to 12 hour shifts as required to fit business needs. This allows for the flexibility of working requirements including balancing work shifts and leave coverage as and for when required. Due to the nature of the business, this may include weekends and public holidays.
