Carlyon Civil Construction is a well-established business that specialises in the petroleum industry working on commercial sites and service stations throughout New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. With a growing network of sites and service work, we now require another Mechanical Service Technician to join our team in the Auckland Area.
This varied role includes the service, maintenance and install of equipment on retail service stations, unmanned fuel sites and oil/lubricants facilities. Reporting to the Area Supervisor, your role will include the below;
Servicing and repairs on of retail, commercial fuel and oil equipment
Preventative maintenance inspections
Fuel Installation work
Oil Installation work
You'll also be required to comply with our Health & Safety and Environmental guidelines and perform project work where directed. You will be expected to liaise with all members of staff, whether internal admin or external customers/employees.
What you'll need to succeed:
Experience in the fuel industry would be ideal, but training will be provided.
Mechanical or automotive experience will be an advantage as skills can be applied to the petroleum industry.
Hold a clean NZ drivers license.
A strong work ethic and proven reliability.
Demonstrate great customer service skills.
Strong fault finding skills and focus on delivering high quality work.
Have the ability to self-schedule and work independently.
Willingness to learn and take on a variety of work types.
Be proactive and able to demonstrate good judgement.
Be fit and healthy and consent to annual medical check and drug screening.
