Due to the workload we have the opportunity for expanding our team in the Canterbury Region.
Broadly, you’ll be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of commercial door systems at client sites through the Canterbury Region, so a full NZ driver licence is a must.
Specifically, you’ll be responsible for:
Completing all tasks and responsibilities safely.
Performing routine maintenance on equipment, to manufacturers recommendations and best practices.
Repairing and installing door components or equipment, and any required building tasks where applicable.
Use tools ranging from common hand tools and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills and wrenches.
Order parts, supplies and equipment from suppliers when required.
Clean work site and all equipment to a satisfactory standard on completion of tasks.
Provide technical assistance and knowledge to Commercial Door Service staff or clients when requested.
Complete all relevant paper based and electronic information in a professional and timely manner.
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
Relevant trades qualification (preferred).
Experience working in a team and on your own.
Good communication skills.
Strong work ethic and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Clean, full NZ driver licence.
The legal right to work in NZ.
