We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Fiber Technician to join our busy team on the UFB project.

The Key Responsibilities for the position include:
Examining drawings, specifications and work areas to determine positioning and connections for equipment to be installed
Fibre Splicing/Blowing
Installation of FATs underground and AFDC boxes on height
Installing, repairing and maintaining Aerial and underground cables
Installing wires and cables to telecommunication equipment
Jointing the fibre optic cabinets & feeder cables
We would require the candidate to have the following competencies and backgrounds:
A Qualification in Information Technology or Telecommunication
Minimum 1+ years work experience as Fibre Optic Technician
A site safe Passport
Chorus WTC certificates
A current First Aid certificate
A Full Class "I driver's Licence.
