For over six decades, the Hamill name has been synonymous with hunting, fishing and the great outdoors. Launched in 1955 in Rotorua by the legendary Bill Hamill, Hamills Fishing and Hunting Specialists Stores have continued to hold strong to Bill’s expertise in fishing and firearms. Hamills is proud to be locally owned and operated. With 5 locations in the North Island, there is bound to be a Hamills store near you, and if not – buying online couldn’t be easier! Each store is individually owned and as such, the stock in each store is hand-picked to suit the region it services.
We pride ourselves on offering something for everyone – from lower price points to top quality, handmade New Zealand products. We have everything you need for your outdoor adventures and something for everyone in the family (even newborns!).
In 2023, Hamills Taupo merged with Trev Terry Marine Taupo where you can now find everything you need for the great outdoors, all under one roof.
